This page is under construction. It is designed to constitute an EU database on non-proliferation (resolutions, decisions, action plans, strategies, common positions, programs, partnerships, etc.) as well as serving as an explanatory display of the EU’s activity. It profiles key actors and policies with the aim of increasing the understanding of the EU’s endeavours in this field and putting the workings of its various competent organs into perspective.
Initially, this page will document EU policies since the adoption of the EU strategy against the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in December 2003 at the Thessaloniki summit. The genesis of European action will subsequently be archived in order to provide an historical overview of European policies, facilitating a comprehension of their continuity, their divisions, and the key stages of their development.
