On 3 June 2020, Norway officially handed over the Chairmanship of the Hague Code of Conduct against ballistic missile proliferation to Switzerland.<\/p>

Given the circumstances resulting from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a physical Annual Regular Meeting of subscribing states could not be held, but it was postponed to Autumn 2020.\u00a0<\/p>

The nineteenth Annual Regular Meeting of HCoC subscribing states took place in Vienna on 12 October 2020 under the Chairmanship of Switzerland, Chair for the period 2020-2021, with the participation
of 71 registered delegations.\u00a0<\/p>

Read the press release here<\/a>: “The subscriptions to the Code by Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Equatorial Guinea and Somalia since the 2019 HCoC regular meeting were welcomed, and seen as a good example for the process of universalization. Currently, 143 States have subscribed to the Code.<\/em><\/p>
