Military Technical Academy „Ferdinand I” is a public institution of military higher education, part of the Romanian national education network, providing education and professional development for engineering officers and civilian personnel selected for the needs of the national defence structures. Military Technical Academy „Ferdinand I” is conducting educational programs for bachelor, master and doctoral studies. Research regarding conventional weapon, ammunitions and weapon systems engineering is conducted within the Faculty of Integrated Armament Systems, Military Engineering and Mechatronics and the Centre of Excellence for Integrated Armament Systems and Military Engineering.

Zvîncu Neculai-Daniel is a researcher on the conventional weapons, ammunitions and weapons systems engineering and is currently head of the Integrated Weapons and CBRN Defence Laboratory from the Centre of Excellence for Integrated Armament Systems and Military Engineering.

His research is conducted on the effects determinations of the conventional weaponry and numerical modeling for weapons, ammunitions and weapons systems engineering.

Moldoveanu Cristian-Emil is an associate professor and the Vice-Rector for the Inter-University Relations at the Military Technical Academy „Ferdinand I”.
